Happy Meal x A Minecraft Movie

A global toy programme for Happy Meal comprising of over 150 million units distributed worldwide. The sustainable component of this programme for France featured a fibre-based option, with over 5 million units produced, which was my primary focus. The French toy offering included puzzles, card games, stickers, and buildable characters, all presented in blind, generic packaging. For this programme, I initially included additional buildable characters, such as the Bee and Denis the Wolf. However, to stay within budget and offer a diverse toy range, these characters were removed from the lineup. The block worlds were originally designed with a resource block exterior and a block world interior, similar to the global plastic toy line. However, based on client feedback about market preferences, we adapted the designs to highlight the movie world with a character, ensuring stronger appeal for the target age group. The global plastic toy programme, expertly developed by the talented toy team, featured block-head figures and buildable resource blocks. My role in the programme focused on creating packaging versions for both global and local markets, ensuring satisfaction for both the client and the licence partner. Client: © McDonald's.
